Ruth Woodside is a Cinematographer, and a cohort of the esteemed 3 year Screenskills ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ program.

Drawing on 25 years of industry experience through the ranks of the camera department, including 10 years experience as a sought after A camera Focus Puller and 4 years as a Camera Operator on productions such as ‘Silo Season 1’ and ‘Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Season 2’, Ruth is now actively building her reputation as a Cinematographer, gaining invaluable experience as a 2nd Unit Director of Photography in HETV. A highlight so far has been on BBC’s ‘Doctor Who’, alongside Main Unit DoP Dale Elena McCready BSC NZCS.
