Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, after studying Graphic Design and playing drums in rock bands, Marinella moved to the UK to pursue a Directing career. Marinella has been a Script Supervisor for film and TV in the UK for over 25 years, where she built a solid career and great relationships in the industry. Credits as script supervisor include The Essex Serpent (Apple+), No Time To Die (splinter unit/ Eon), Beast (Film 4 & Bfi) and Berberian Sound Studios (Warp X).

Her first shorts were financed by local authority and private financiers garnering many awards and nominations. Marinella continues to work as a Director, Script Supervisor, and Splinter Unit Director on special projects. Recently completed work as script supervisor and splinter unit co-director for the new Apple+ series ‘Disclaimer’, directed by Alfonso Cuarón and featuring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Developing romcom THE RAIN AND THE RAINBOW, Gothic Noir MENTALO, and packaging coming- of-age drama ROCK ROSE, to be shot in North Wales, written by Lisa Baker, and produced by Angus Finney, Gareth Owen, Chris Evans and Konnie Daniel.
