Lori Dovi, with over 27 years’ experience is one of the last to join our team at RA-Agency as a Production Sound Mixer. She has an amazing resume with top feature, tv and commercial credits and is a member of the Cinema Audio Society and the founder of the organisation ‘International Women Working In Film’.

Lori has worked, among others, with directors such as David Fincher, Tom Ford, David Ayer, Marc Webb, Craig Gillespie and Zoe Lister-Jones.

Dovi has provided award-winning contributions to Features and TV that have earned Bafta, Academy and Emmy Nominations & Wins. Lori’s Major Motion Picture and TV credits include: ‘A Single Man’, ‘Nocturnal Animals’, ‘Suicide Squad’, ‘Terminator Salvation’ and ‘Mindhunter’. She has also worked with Studios such as; Warner Bros, Sony, Universal, Paramount and Dreamworks.

Lori Dovi introduced a ‘boom and plant mic only’ approach during Covid to several TV series for CBS and Amazon. The execution garnered thumbs up and amazement for its results with superior quality tracks and safety on set. Lori wrote about the unconventional approach for the CBS show ‘Diary of a Future President’ in the Cinema Audio Society Spring 2021 Journal called ‘Return To The Golden Age of Booming’. In addition, Dovi has worked with actors such as Colin Farrell, Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawerence, Colin Firth, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kim Basinger, Christian Bale, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jarred Leto, Amy Adams, Emily  Blunt, Tilda Swinton, Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Helena Bonham Carter and Kate Beckinsale to name a few.

Lori Dovi was born and raised in San Francisco, California, While studying music and listening to late night radio in her bedroom she was inspired and went on to work in radio, recording studios and theatre sound design. After a  while she decided to enter the world of motion pictures, where she happily resides today, recording actor’s voices,  storytelling and delivering high end production sound.

Lori’s signing with our RA-Agency expands our roster of excellent sound mixers, making for an award-winning sound  team here in the UK.
