‘Hounslow Diaries’ stars Ambreen Razia, Mandeep Dhillon and Robyn Cara, who play Shaheeda, Tash and Leonie – three loud, excitable, determined Muslim teenage girls living in West London. Written and created by Ambreen Razia, Directed by Nida Manzoor and Produced by Charlie Coombes.

Shaheeda’s made it her mission to get them a night out at a fancy West End club with a VIP bar. Only one problem – they have no cash and will definitely need plenty. Luckily an opportunity falls into Shaheeda’s lap thanks to her sister’s never-ending wedding preparation. If Shaheeda can keep a lid on Tash’s kleptomania and Leonie’s nerves, they might just have the best night out ever.

Cassandra Rutledge was hired as Production Sound Mixer and Svetlana Miko provided her skilled steadicam services on this pilot, which we really hope goes to a full series.

It went down very well and on it’s BBC1 showing just before Christmas it got half a million at 11:50pm which is good going!

Cassandra is focused on recording sound for film and tv on location and enjoying the challenge of balancing the demands of a busy shoot schedule against the backdrop of often difficult locations while always finding a way to get great sound. Cassandra brings a wealth of organised and focused energy as well as her respect and admiration for artists from her own experiences as a creator and performer.

Cassandra is currently on a indie feature ‘The Bike Thief’ starring Alec Secareanu (GODS OWN COUNTRY) and Anamaria Marinca (MARS, GHOST IN THE SHELL). Sophia Gibber, Oscar-nominated Lene Bausager and Peregrine Fellowes are producing, writer/director Matt Chambers delivers his debut feature.
